Swimming!

On Memorial  Day, we didn't have any plans so we set up a little waterpark in our backyard.  We dragged out the blow up pool, water table and slip n' slide.  I was so happy that the kids were happy, right there in our own backyard!

The kids have played in the pool every couple of days.  Preston is quite the little fishy and he's all over under the water!  Fearless, really, and it scares me a bit!

Saturday, we did our first trip of the summer to a real pool at Derek and Kristin's.  And it was Hayda-baby's first swim!!!  She looked adorable in her ruffly little bathing suit.  She didn't quite know what to think about the pool, but she didn't complain!

Beginning of a synchronized swimming career?

Brooklyn and Blake had a ball swimming around, Gavin is a little reserved because he's not a great swimmer yet, so he kinda hangs by the wall.  Preston mostly stayed on the step until Matt took him out into the pool.  Then he got nervous but he still did good!  He even jumped off the side!
