Brooklyn gets her back kick over!

This past year in dance, Brooklyn was always letting me know that she never got "tricks" in their routines because she didn't know how to do those kinds of things.  I decided that her focus for the summer would be to work on some tumbling so I signed her up for classes at a Define Yourself Tumble & Cheer.  She went twice a week once school got out through July along with attending a week-long camp in July.  Her biggest goal was to get her backbend kick over.

It took a lot of hard work, sore muscles and even some tears, but SHE DID IT!!!  Such a big accomplishment for her!  I know it'll take a lot of practice to maintain but it was just the boost of confidence she needed.  WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!!!
