The activities they had planned were great! First, they had rocket building. Wrap paper around a PVC pipe, end of a snow cone cup for the tip, tape wings on and there ya go! They had this super cool contraption that you put the rockets on, pumped it up with a compressor and with the push of a button, the rockets SHOT off!! The kids could've done this all day!
This girl..... Doesn't everyone wear a "twirly dress" to the cabin???
And bare feet???
I hardly saw the big girls the whole time we were there!! Lo and behold, they were doin' girly things like DIGGING FOR WORMS behind the cabin!!
Rock-a-byes with Daddy
Mini marshmallow eating contest~ I think he got 85 in there??!? *gag*
Flower crowns for the girls! Working on her fine motor skills.
This was a fun one for the older kids, leather journal covers!
And for the littler ones- necktie snakes!! Genius!
So the theme was "Meet Your Family Tree." The kids walked around to different rooms of the cabin and learned a story about their ancestors. It was a wonderful idea! They got a sticker for each story they heard to put on their family tree.
Once they got all their stickers, they received a candy stick^^^
and one of these rope little pull toys.
We're sad we couldn't stay the entire weekend, but love the time we get to spend at the cabin with our family!
