Blake's first band concert

We had the opportunity to attend Blake's very first band concert of his clarinet-playing career!  It's kinda cool that he's playing MY clarinet!

I forgot one thing about beginning elementary band concerts; everyone plays at one level- LOUD!  It wasn't the most melodic thing I've heard in my life but it's amazing to see the progress they make from just picking up an instrument for the first time a few months ago, to actually being able to play something together as a group.  I'm sure this was just the first of many band concerts to come!
