It's getting harder and harder to come up with party ideas as they get older!! This year, Brooklyn decided on a movie night in the backyard.
She invited 16 girls (a mix from church, school and cousins) and 14 came, it was NUTS!! Girls are crazy and LOUD! We started off playing a few games while we waited for the pizza to arrive. The first game was where I put a character sticker on each girl's back and they had to ask the other people yes or no questions to be able to find out who they were. Then we did some other movie character trivia for candy.
After the girls ate, I took some fun "photo booth" pics of them on the red carpet~~

Once it got dark enough, we headed out to the backyard to watch Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. We bought some blackout material from Hobby Lobby for the movie screen and Matt got the projector all set up. I had a concession stand where the girls loaded up on candy and popcorn! By the end of the movie, there were gummy bears, popcorn and junior mints all over the backyard! I think they had a pretty good time.
Brooklyn opened gifts, she got tons of cute accessories, gift cards, candy and crafty things.
Do you notice Hayden in every one of these pictures???? She was loving being with all these older girls! Hayden sure does idolize and love her big sister!
Brooklyn is really such a kind person that people are naturally drawn to her. She is friends with EVERYone! I love seeing her interact with people. It really was such a fun night!
