Slippin' and a-Slidin'

Saturday afternoon/evening plans didn't go as expected so we had to come up with something new to do. I had picked up a couple slip 'n slides at Target on clearance a bit ago so we finally set one up and let the kids try it for the first time!

Daddy showed them how the pros* do it-

Blake had it down!!! He was so funny.... he'd stand back against the wall, with a MEAN face all scrunched up, then charge ahead! He got *SO* close to sliding the length of the whole thing!This chica-lica did pretty good!

Gavin was having some technical difficulties with his slipping and sliding coordination.These two munchkins preferred slipping and CRAWLING instead

This picture cracks me up. Matt turned on the yard sprinklers as we were finishing up and Preston was getting sprayed while sitting in the cozy coupe!! But he didn't move, just closed his eyes and tensed up his little body until the sprinkler passed. LOL!Double trouble! They were trying to spray me with the sprinkler! I love when they laugh and play together. ♥*No, I did not attempt to slip OR slide. I didn't want to end up in the emergency room with a broken hip or smashed boob. ;)
