Our ward party was a little different this year, with it being in the morning. Everyone brought blankets for their family to sit on while we ate breakfast. Then there was a program alternating with skits from the different auxilaries and singing from the crowd. Santa made an appearance and listened to the wishes of the ward children! :)
Waiting in line is hard to do sometimes! A little sisterly love....This line was longer than at the mall!
That evening, we had a sitter for the kids while we partied with a few other couples from the ward. We had a white elephant gift exchange which was good for several laughs!
I'm just tickled that Brooklyn and Blake are old enough to read and follow along with the hymns on Sunday. It was fun to have my kids surround me on the piano bench as we sung together.
Team Jacob? Or Edward? Battle @ the Oitzman's house!Have you gotten yours?? Haha!A very exotic (erotic?) lamp....Our very tame gift that we ended up with :)
Day 13: Gather 'round the piano and learn a Christmas song, Silent Night
