Brooklyn's pajama birthday party

B&B haven't had a birthday party since they were 7 and since 10 is kind of a big deal, we decided to do birthday parties this year, one at a time.

Saturday night, after we spent all day at Grandpa LeBaron's funeral, I had TWELVE wild and crazy girls here in their pjs.  (Three of the girls invited weren't able to make it.)  This was my way of getting around having an actual sleepover. ;)

Didn't really have a theme, perse, just decorated with purple, pink and turquoise.
We started the night off with some eats~ lil' smokies in a blanket, fruit kebobs with fruit dip and a snack mix with Capri Suns to drink.

After we got that all cleaned up, we moved on to a game of Spin the Bottle with a twist.  They took turns spinning the arrow and painting their own toenails and/or fingernails.  We had waaaaaaayyyyy too many girls to make this as fun as I hoped and thank GOODNESS I laid down a couple plastic tablecloths because there was plenty of knocking over of nail polish bottles!

Of course girls this age love crafts!  The girls made these cute flip flops by tying strips of fabric onto the straps.  They turned out adorable!

Next it was time for cupcakes and ice cream.  Then she opened gifts.

The whole gang
Morgan Bodell, Madelyn Oitzman, Emily Hilton, Brooklyn, Hannah Gustad, MariahThomas, Kaybree Ferrin, Camerin Sivert, Hayley Allen, Kelsey Millar, Mackenzie Anderson, Anna G.

We had originally planned to do a dance game on the Wii or Xbox, but she got a One Direction CD and the girls just wanted to have a dance party/play freeze dance instead!  So that's how we ended the night.

Everyone trickled out the door just after 9pm and I was ready to collapse to the floor.  NEVER again!!!  That was out.of.control.  But Brooklyn had SO much fun and it was fun to see her interacting with her friends and she loved every second of it!
