For their birthday lunch, I gave them two options- I could sign them out of school and we could go out to lunch or I could bring lunch in to them. They chose to stay at school and have me bring them lunch. I tried to coerce them in to choosing something different for lunch but they ended up choosing dang Happy Meals from McDonalds!! Matt says one day, hopefully their tastes will become more refined. ;)
After school, we had activity days at my house, which Brooklyn didn't mind at all, seeing as how it was her last one with our group. I wish I would've taken pictures of this one but I didn't. The girls tied tulle onto plastic headbands, which turned out really cute, then we made a candy bar poster and wrote notes on paper hearts for the Bishop.
Once Matt got home, we gave Blake & Brooklyn their birthday gifts~
For Brooklyn: Pokemon SoulSilver DS game, a clock radio and [my old] iPod nano
For Blake: Pokemon White 2, Lego Heroica game and an Air Rifle aka BB gun
Brooklyn went absolutely CrAzY over the iPod! She has been dying for one for the longest time! And since I got a newer iPod nano two Christmases ago, it only seemed appropriate that she get my older one. I made her a playlist with music she loves from my selection, then added a few new songs that she requested.
And I think Blake was a little shocked that he got a gun. But boy, was Matt excited to give it to him!!
For birthday dinner, the twinners agreed on Red Robin.
And instead of cake, they wanted ice cream, rainbow sherbet to be exact. Double dessert!
Brooklyn is very responsible. She is a good helper and helps willingly, most of the time. She loves Pokemon, girly Legos, coloring, craft projects, fact books, animals, music, dancing, accessorizing and playing her DS. She is friends with EVERYONE.
Blake is very loud and go-go-go. He is also very sensitive and craves touch. He loves having his neck/shoulders/earlobes rubbed gently, his hair being played with, or holding my hand. And if you'll listen, he'll talk your ear off. He also loves Pokemon and Legos, reading, playing the Wii and his DS. He has just a couple good friends.

I can't believe they're 10! I still remember when we found out you were having twins. I think we were at the house you were living in (someone's grandparent's?) and playing games.
Enjoyed your other updates too...
