Pinewood Derby 2012

Today was the annual Pinewood Derby!  I love this opportunity every year that Blake has the chance to work with his Dad on coming up with a design, cutting, sanding, and painting for his car.  He named his car Black Lightning.

Blake wanted to get first place this year, of course, and I was anxious to see how his car would do.  He started off pretty well, right off the bat!

Here comes his car.....

He ended up getting FIRST place in the wolf den and THIRD place overall in his pack!  I think Blake was very happy with that!  Great job, Blake & Matt!
