Peeping Matt - Peek a Boo!
Good thing we have one of those big, black security doors on the outside to keep us safe from the Boogie Man tonight!!!
***Disclaimer: (Added by Matt) The frustration came after I had to escape out the window to inform the landlord of our predicament. I busted out the hammer when she said that she would get to it sometime tomorrow! Imagine trying to climb over Blake's bed to sneak out the window with all my equipment at the crack of dawn! Plus the cold steel of the hammer felt great in my hand!!!!!

way to go matt! i would've done the same thing, especially if the landlord said she'll take care of it tomorrow. NICE ONE!
Nice handy-work, Matt!
Oh no! What's going to happen now? Will you guys have to buy a new door or will the manager?
The maintenance guy just put a plate over the door. He said that he could have opened the door with a credit card, but that would not have worked. We haven't had to pay for it yet. Maybe she'll try to take it out of our deposit.
Um, excuse me, Mrs. Landlord, we're trapped in our apartment and there is a fire blazing.
Landlord: Don't worry about that. The fire will burn the door down for you and then you can get out.
Just an update. When we moved they did not charge us for the damage to the door. It was nice that my brother-in-law Taylor made it look a little better.
It is nice to be out of that old apartment. We had hoped to get into a house, but thankfully that fell through because we would be $40,000 upside down since the prices have dropped recently. Everything seemed to be going against us at the time, but someone was just watching out for us. Now we should be able to get into a bigger home for cheaper.
